DECTOR – The Automated Online Doctor and Teacher

The Automated Online Doctor and Teacher is a revolutionary project created by Arjun Venkataramanan Gayathri from India. This innovative prototype, developed using PictoBlox software, aims to address critical sustainable development goals by providing access to basic education and healthcare for children living in remote areas.

DECTOR utilizes advanced technologies such as face recognition, voice recognition, image recognition, and multilingual capabilities to act as an online doctor, teacher, nurse, farmer, friend, and music tutor.
It comes equipped with a solar-powered system, making it independent and environmentally friendly. With its user-friendly interface and interactive features, DECTOR empowers children to learn and seek medical assistance in their preferred language.

The project utilizes PictoBlox extensions including Face Detection, Natural Language Processing, and  Text Classifier (ML). These extensions enable the implementation of DECTOR’s advanced functionalities. They contribute to its success in bridging the gap between conventional education and healthcare systems and modern-day technologies.
