Muaz Mohammed, a member of Orientations Center, actively participated in the Codeavour Global AI and Coding Competition, presenting a cool project on PictoBlox. Named ‘Smart Home’, this project focuses on enhancing life safety and well-being. It embodies the four C’s of the 21st-Century Skills – critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. Equipped with sensors, the device continuously monitors its environment, detecting gas levels, fire, smoke, and other potential hazards. Additionally, it promptly sends emergency alerts when necessary. The project’s development utilized PictoBlox, an interactive, user-friendly, AI-based robotics programming language.
