Recently, The Knights Knowledge International School in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, achieved a community project. They automated the Smart House theme, enabling residents to manage their environment effortlessly. Lego kits built the structure, while a relay automated the system, and PictoBlox facilitated coding. An Arduino kit provided materials, and an infrared (IR) sensor detected objects.
The IR sensor identified obstacles, keeping the door closed until detection. Upon sensing, lights activated, and the door unlocked. In the Smart Store, the IR, Bluetooth, and VictorBlocks coded actions, while the LED managed lighting. The store locked or unlocked based on sensors, and typing “Turn On” in the Dual app activated lights.
This successful project automated the Smart House and store, streamlining daily environment control tasks.
