PolluGuard: Pollution Alert Control System

Project Overview: The project aims to enhance safety measures in industrial factories by detecting gas, smoke, or particulate leakages. It utilizes Arduino boards and various sensors like MQ6, MQ7, MQ9, and MQ135, along with Bluetooth, LEDs, an LCD screen, cables, testing boards, Relay, and Fans.

How it Works: When a leakage is detected inside the factory, the sensors activate and immediately send alerts to the workers and employees. LEDs light up in different colors like RED, BLUE, Green, and Dark Yellow to indicate the type of leakage. Simultaneously, alerts are sent to mobile phones and the LCD screen via Bluetooth, while fans are activated to air the place. Workers can then take safety measures and evacuate as needed.

Sensor Functions:

  • MQ6: Senses Methane Gas
  • MQ7: Detects Benzine
  • MQ9: Identifies Propane
  • MQ135: Monitors Alcohol

Significance: This project plays a vital role in protecting the workers from potential leakages. Surprisingly, around 80% of industrial factories in Libya lack such advanced safety precautions.
