Madhumita, a student of Kanji Shankara School, has developed a project called “Face Recognition Attendance System” using AI, ML, and Text-to-Speech Converter to detect face masks. The project is attempting to create awareness about wearing face masks and replace the traditional fingerprint attendance system, in order to prevent the spread of the pandemic. The system prompts the user to wear a face mask and once identified, registers the attendance and turns green to indicate readiness. This project is of great help to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
