PictoBlox Smart Shopping Cart – Your Hassle-free Grocery Shopping Companion

The project uses machine learning and QR codes to detect added products, including their prices. It then sends the bill as an SMS message to the customer’s phone while also updating a monthly purchase list on a Google Sheet.

Hardware components such as Evive and Arduino power this project, along with PictoBlox extensions like QR Code Scanner, IFTTT Webhooks, Text to Speech, Image Classifier (ML), and Actuators and Sensors. The process begins by scanning the QR code, which contains the customer’s identity.. The user then adds products to the shopping cart and the PictoBlox software detects the product and corresponding price. Finally, the customer presses the checkout button, at which point the account will send the total invoice via SMS and email.

Overall, this program adds convenience and comfort to customers’ shopping experiences.
