Medical emergencies can be daunting for anyone. To provide an enriched experience to handle medical emergencies, a student from Codeavour 2022 designed a Smart First Aid Kit.
The Smart First Aid Kit project uses speech recognition and text-to-speech technologies to diagnose and suggest appropriate remedies for different medical issues. It functions by scanning the medicines in stock and suggesting remedies based on the symptoms and user input. On correctly recognizing the user’s symptoms, it can provide valuable advice. Also provides direction on how to apply the medicine and promote safe and informed healthcare practices.
By incorporating PictoBlox extensions such as Speech Recognition, Python, and Text to Speech, the project can be seamlessly integrated with the aid kit to make necessary decisions easily. Using Speech Recognition, it accurately recognizes text from speech. Further, Text to Speech helps the machine express itself in a computer-generated voice.
The Smart First Aid Kit project provides a smart solution for first aid needs. By utilizing advanced AI and scanning capabilities, it ensures that anyone can effectively use the first aid kit during times of distress.
