Posture Alert: For a Good Health is a revolutionary project that prioritizes your posture to promote health and well-being. Whether people are sitting at their desks or behind the wheel, this solution guides them towards optimal posture. It reminds them to make necessary adjustments. This project is created with PictoBlox, a graphical programming interface for kids and beginners, using their AI, Human Body Detection, and Text to Speech extensions.
Combining the power of Arduino and PictoBlox, this project continuously records your posture and reminds you when you need to pay attention and take a break. After 30 minutes of continuous sitting, Posture Alert beeps a sound alarm to remind you to take a break and do some exercises. It also lights up lights on the Arduino board to remind you of shifting positions. Furthermore, Posture Alert provides helpful photos to practice exercises with Tobi. PictoBlox’s Text to Speech extension, instructs the user on how to practice the exercises correctly.
Posture Alert aims to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal issues, prevent discomfort, and improve body alignment.
