Vedant Dhople from India has developed an innovative solution called Green Lights, an air purifier integrated into traffic lights. By using PictoBlox, Arduino Uno, an MQ 135 air quality sensor, and a negative ion generator, the purifier detects high pollution levels and purifies the air accordingly. The system records the event, activates the ion generator, and displays the air quality level on an LCD screen.
Green Lights not only purify the air for pedestrians but also provides valuable air quality data for city planning. This project aims to improve the overall ecosystem and create healthier environment for citizens.
