To tackle this problem, the Smart Parking System, offers a solution by enabling customers to reserve parking spots online. The Smart Parking System employs PictoBlox extensions such as QR code scanning and IFTTT webhooks. These extensions facilitate seamless communication between the mobile application and the parking infrastructure. Users can easily navigate through the app, select available parking spaces at various locations, and make reservations with just a few taps on their smartphones.
Upon selecting a parking space, the app prevents simultaneous reservations of the same spot, saving drivers time and reducing traffic congestion.
To enhance user convenience, the Smart Parking System allows cancellations up to an hour before the reserved time slot. This feature provides flexibility and adaptability, enabling users to modify their plans without any financial implications.
