Hussein Nabeel Ibrahim, a 15-year-old student from India, created HeartAssure to minimize heart-related diseases among elderly people. The project employs Arduino’s Piezo, LED, and Pulse Sensor with PictoBlox for an all-in-one heart rate monitor. The HeartAssure measures the person’s heartbeat, and if it becomes dangerous, the Piezo triggers an alarm and the LED flashes red. Moreover, after 10 seconds, the project contacts the elderly person’s relatives to alert them about the dangerous reading. This project aims to strengthen health infrastructure and combat heart-related diseases through proper monitoring of elderly people’s conditions.
