Skill Development Courses

STEMpedia provides a modular curriculum for the activity centers, schools, and self-learners. These are short-term courses focused on specific skills like Coding, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics. Each curriculum is of 12 lessons including a capstone project where students get to apply all the concepts they have learned in the previous sections to make a project to solve a real-world problem of their choice. STEMpedia provides STEM.org accediated certificates to all the students who complete the curriculum.

Curriculum for Block Coding

The following skill development curriculum helps students of grade 5 and above to learn the concepts of coding, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Robotics using the block coding environment of PictoBlox. These curriculums will also help students develop important skills such as problem-solving and debugging techniques, critical thinking, logical reasoning, and creativity.

Introduction to Programming

Teach the basic concepts of coding like sequence, loops, variables, arithmetic operators, logical operators, conditional statements, and game development using graphical programming.

Artificial Intelligence for Kids

Teach the concepts of Artificial Intelligence like computer vision, face detection & recognition, text detection, speech recognition, and machine learning using graphical programming.

Learn AI with Quarky

Teach the concepts of physical computing, artificial intelligence techniques, and real-life application of technology with PictoBlox & Quarky.

Robotics & AI with Quarky – Level 1

Teach the basic concepts of AI & Robotics like robot movement, wirelessly controlled robots, and line-following robots, AI delivery robots, waste collector robots, AI assistance robots, and self-driving cars.

Robotics & AI with Quarky – Level 2

Teach the advanced concepts of Robotics (Sensors and Actuators) and Autonomous Robots like obstacle avoidance robot, edge detector, steering robot, advanced self-driving robot, and pick and place robot.

Robotics & AI with Quarky – Level 3

Teach the advanced concepts of robotics and automation using AI to make real-life projects like intrusion detectors, QR-based robot localization, and much more with block-based coding!
