Working in a hospital setting can be difficult and time consuming. This is why a student, Hala Abbara from Egypt, has designed a new AI-based project to assist hospitals. The project utilizes PictoBlox, a robotics programming software, to offer AI doctor and vet services for both humans and animals, an AI pharmacy, and a QR code scanner for patient data.
When entering the hospital, visitors must first show their QR code. This will then be scanned into the system, allowing the AI doctor to assess what is wrong. For example, it can tell if a person’s leg or arm is broken, as well as indications of dry skin. The AI pharmacy then provides the medicine needed for the diagnosis.
Hala Abbara has designed a helpful project that will benefit the medical field tremendously. This project has already been recognized as a winner of Cote d’Ivoire 2021 and has the potential to be a great success in the future.
