Facial Gesture Control for Mobility Enhancement of People with Disability

We created this project using PictoBlox, a graphical programming environment. Easy Move is an innovative community project that enables individuals with disabilities to operate a wheelchair with their facial gestures. The project uses advanced facial recognition technology to give individuals increased mobility, independence, and freedom. The project utilizes PictoBlox extensions like actuators (Evive & Arduino), and sensors (Evive & Arduino). These technologies enable reading sensors connected to Evive and Arduino boards. The project controls actuators powered by Evive and Arduino’s boards based on the sensor readings. Dabble extension facilitates communication with the project. It enables monitoring and controlling the system using a smartphone or tablet. Through the Dabble block, Evive and other Arduino boards can communicate with the Dabble app. Easy Move helps to revolutionize mobility by allowing individuals with disabilities to navigate their environment quickly and easily.
